Claire has a particular interest in developing the resilience of Challenger Leaders so they can sustain the energy and performance required by their organisations and is known for highly creative and pragmatic interventions. She is the co-author of The Challenger Spirit, a research project into those organisations that successfully disturb the status quo in their market. Claire has a particular interest in the latest neuroscience research that is revealing new and more effective approaches in developing resilience, authenticity in leadership and EQ – she offers a retreat in mindfulness and resilience that is regarded as the pinnacle of leadership development by many of the senior executives that have participated.

A Zen Buddhist and an experienced corporate coach of over twenty years, Claire specialises in working with people who have broader and deeper questions about what they are trying to cause in organisations, those who need to recover their confidence or their inner compass to lead, and those who are regarded as talented but lacking in relational or EQ skills. Clients find working with her brings a rich mix of challenge, insight, conceptual and pragmatic stretch. You can expect changes in awareness, purpose, energy and leadership mastery.

Earlier in her career, Claire co-founded the Centre for Action Learning Ltd. and worked as Client Service Director for Alexander Consulting and Walleczek & Partners.

Claire has a Masters Degree in Change Agent Skills and Strategies, is a qualified therapist and stress management consultant with extensive experience of executive coaching, group work and action learning.
